These highly competitive, fully funded scholarships are designed for talented and motivated international students from developing countries who wish to pursue a master’s degree in Europe.

The EBF Scholarships offer comprehensive financial coverage for a one- or two-year master’s program, including tuition fees, international travel expenses, living allowance, academic materials, and health insurance.  Eligibility Criteria for Eric Bleumink Scholarships 2026

To be eligible for this prestigious European scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of one of the eligible countries listed above.

  • Demonstrate exceptional academic performance.

  • Have obtained (or be in the process of obtaining) provisional or unconditional admission to a University of Groningen master’s program before February 2025.

  • Meet the English language requirements of the selected program.

  • Not be a recipient of any other scholarship for the intended study period.

  • Be available to participate fully in the academic program and adapt to life in the Netherlands.

  • Be in good health (for eligibility under Dutch health insurance regulations).

 How to Apply for the Eric Bleumink Scholarships 2026

  1. Apply for Admission: Submit your application for a master’s program at the University of Groningen before the internal admission deadline (preferably by December 1, 2025).

  2. Admission Confirmation: Only applicants who receive an admission offer (provisional or unconditional) by February 2025 will be considered.

  3. Nomination: The Admission Office, in collaboration with faculty boards, will nominate candidates for the scholarship.

  4. No Separate Scholarship Application Needed: There is no separate application form for the scholarship—nomination is based on your master’s program application.
