Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Requirements:
- Open to all international students worldwide (Chinese nationals are not eligible).
- Applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically.
- Master’s Degree: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Applicants must have a high school diploma and be under 25.
- Strong academic record is required.
- Language Requirements:
- Chinese-taught Programs: HSK Level 5 (score of 180 or above).
- English-taught Programs:
- Native English speakers are exempted.
- Non-native speakers need a TOEFL score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.0.
- Applicants must meet all additional requirements set by Tianjin University.

Tianjin Government Scholarship offers financial support for international students pursuing higher education in China.
For Master’s Degree:
First Prize Scholarship:
- Full tuition fee coverage (30,000 RMB).
- Monthly stipend of 1,700 RMB (for 10 months).
- Comprehensive medical insurance (800 RMB).
Second Prize Scholarship:
- Tuition fee coverage (30,000 RMB only).
For Bachelor’s Degree:
First Prize Scholarship:
- Full tuition fee coverage (20,000 RMB).
- Monthly stipend of 1,400 RMB (for 10 months).
- Comprehensive medical insurance (800 RMB).
Second Prize Scholarship:
- Tuition fee coverage (20,000 RMB only).

- Acceptance letter from a Tianjin University supervisor
- Physical examination record for foreigners
