Scholarship Coverage by UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program 2025
The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program provides the recipient with the following benefits:
- Free tuition and access to university facilities, following local regulations.
- A monthly scholarship of PLN 1500 for participants holding a three-year diploma. For those with full higher education qualifications, the amount is PLN 2200, equivalent to the Polish five-year master’s program.
- Upon completing the research studies, beneficiaries will receive a certificate confirming their attendance at the host institution. This certificate will be granted after submitting all required reports and obtaining financial clearance from the institution.
UNESCO provides the recipient with the following benefits:
- International Travel Expenses: UNESCO will cover the costs of international travel, including the most direct and economical route from the beneficiary’s home country to Poland and back.
- Health Insurance: Fellowship beneficiaries who meet the medical fitness criteria may receive health insurance provided by UNESCO. This insurance is arranged and paid for by UNESCO for the duration of the fellowship, ensuring comprehensive coverage for awarded fellows.
Eligibility Criteria for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program 2025
To qualify for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Required Language: English
- Eligible Countries: Refer to the list of invited Member States eligible to submit applications.
- Must hold at least a BS, BSc Degree, or an MS, MSc Degree.
- Must be proficient in the English language.
- Fellowships are available to individuals in good health and under 45 years of age. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Applications should be submitted by the invited Member State.
- Strongly encouraged: Youth and students from developing countries are highly encouraged to apply.
