David Sainsbury Scholarships 2025 | Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Fully Funded David Sainsbury Scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have received an offer for a place in the UEA MSc in Global Plant Health program.
- Must be a national of or domiciled in a least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income country/territory as defined by the Overseas Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list for the 2024-25 version, applicable to the 2025-26 academic year.
- Must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution of higher education.
- Must demonstrate outstanding academic and research capabilities.
Scholarship Benefits
- Full coverage of tuition fees (£35,450 for international students for the 2025-26 academic year).
- Maintenance grant, with the exact value determined based on the UKRI postgraduate researcher stipend for 2025-26 (the 2024-23 value was £19,237).
- An additional £4,000 for travel expenses, subject to submission of valid economy-class travel receipts.

How to Apply:
Interested candidates for the David Sainsbury MSc Scholarship must apply for admission to the master’s program at the University of East Anglia for the 2025/26 academic session.
